whether you call the first-step 'neophyte' or 'initiate', supplicant', 'novice' or 'adherant' it's all the same - the first step along the path of magick is a serious undertaking, no matter what path you choose.

"How can you play like that with dark forces?"

Well, they're not so dark, and what else is one supposed to do but play?

But seriously, you can dabble and play at being a High Magickian, maybe even make yourself some groovy robes - or you can set yourself on a structured process of self-development and enlightenment through knowledge and experience.

As a neophyte, it's tempting to think that the purpose of Magick is to make changes in the world in accordance with your desire. But that's not quite it, and it took me many years to get out of this mind-set myself.

The purpose of Magick is to get things done, that is true - if you have lost the phone number of your boyfriend, a communication spell whereby he decides to call you is useful! But more than this, the purpose of Magick is to discover yourself and to cause change in conformity with your Will - and you'll notice that I've capitalised the word 'Will'.

The purpose of Magick is to have Knowledge and Conversation with your Holy Guardian Angel - but that doesn't mean what it sounds like. When you learn what it really means, you may well be disappointed! But when you 'get it' and it's part of your life, you find that it's just what you wanted and needed, and it's pretty amazing.
Blog Front Page :: Warlock Press Wesbite

Marketing comes before Product Launch

It may be a bit early, but it's not premature; it's always important to get the marketing in place even before the end product is 100% complete.

To this end, I have launched Warlock Press!
Blog Front Page :: Warlock Press Wesbite
